This 23 minute spontaneous composition ends with a very intimate and personal time of worship.
Is there a connection between music and spirituality?
I believe there is a connection between music and spirituality. It may be hard to define, it may be hard to explain, it may be hard to prove, but I believe there is a definite connection. Why? Because I have experienced this connection….personally. I think one of the most fascinating things I have ever come to realize is the power of a personal experience.
A personal experience is something that is personal. It is an experience that is personal, very personal.
- Not everyone will believe your personal experience.
- Not everyone will understand your personal experience.
- Not everyone will agree with your personal experience.
- Not everyone will support your personal experience.
Your personal experience is your personal experience.
Have you ever considered your personal experience is actually meant to bring a positive change the lives of those around you?
Be Responsible for Your Personal Experience
Your personal experience becomes your responsibility.
It is your responsibility to take your personal experience and present it in such a way that those who are called to such a similar personal experience can be led into that experience.
Your personal experience sets you up into a position of leadership.
Your personal experience sets you up to lead others into a similar person experience. That is why you should take responsibility for your personal experience. You should share your personal experience. You should write down your personal experience.
Document Your Experience
You should document your personal experience.
You should promote your personal experience.
You should take care of your personal experience.
You should enhance your personal experience.
You should study your personal experience.
You should be in touch, very in touch with your personal experience.
Your personal experience is your reality. Nobody can change that reality, unless you allow them. Your personal experience is your reality. That’s what makes the personal experience so powerful.
Personally, I have had many first hand experiences with music and spirituality. Too many to count….far too many to count.
Others People Experience
I believe it is really important in order to draw a concise, believable and acceptable conclusion, a personal experience must be compared to similar personal experiences from others.
A few minutes ago I mentioned the necessity of studying your personal experience. I mentioned writing down your personal experience. When you write down your personal experience, you are enforcing it. You’re giving it shape. You are forming it. You are constructing it. You are laying a foundation.
I think it would be a great idea to take a look at what other people have experienced.
Has anyone else experienced the connection between music and spirituality?
- If so, who are they?
- Where were their experiences?
- When were their experiences?
- What are the details of their experiences?
One of the best ways to find this information is by researching and reading. Think about it… one good reason it’s so important for you to write down (document…record) your personal experience is because is quite possibly *the* best way to leave a building block for someone else to build they’re case. We can begin to build a case …..and we can begin to draw conclusions between the connection in music and spirituality by not only using our own personal experience (which should be enough), but by researching the documented personal experiences of others.
